Joint Meeting and Site Visit

Kings River Conservation District

Jeff L. Taylor-Pine Flat Power Plant

FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION PROJECT NUMBER 2741

On February 1, 2024, Kings River Conservation District (KRCD) filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) a Notice of Intent to File an Application for New License (NOI), a Pre-Application Document (PAD), and a request for approval to use FERC’s Traditional Licensing Process (TLP) to relicense KRCD’s Jeff L. Taylor-Pine Flat Power Plant, FERC Project Number (No.) 2741 (Project). The FERC noticed the filing and approved KRCD’s request to use the TLP on March 22, 2024.

In their PAD, KRCD proposed that a Joint Meeting and Site Visit be held on May 1, 2024. The Joint Meeting will be held on this date from 1:00-2:30pm at KRCD’s office and on the Microsoft Teams platform. KRCD will issue an invitation and agenda to the FERC Project Manager and interested relicensing participants for the virtual joint meeting prior to the event. The meeting will be recorded. Please respond to this e-mail by April 25 if you would like to receive an invitation to the Joint Meeting.

A site tour will be held for interested participants through coordination with KRCD.  Please contact KRCD at PowerplantFERC@krcd.org by April 25 if you are interested in the site tour.

FEDERAL ENERGENCY REGULATORY COMMISSION PROJECT NUMBER 2876

On February 1, 2024, the California Department of Water Resources Kings (DWR) filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) a Notice of Intent to File an Application for New License (NOI), a Pre-Application Document (PAD), and a request for approval to use FERC’s Traditional Licensing Process (TLP) to relicense DWR’s Pine Flat Transmission Line Project, FERC Project Number (No.) 2876 (Project).  The FERC noticed the filing and approved DWR’s request to use the TLP on March 22, 2024.
