- Initiation of informal consultation request

- First Stage Consultation
- Consult with resource agencies, Native American Tribes, and members of the public
- Schedule joint meeting, post notice, provide notice to resource agencies, Native American Tribes and FERC

- Joint meeting and site visit

- Written comments due to respective project applicant. (KRCD or DWR)

- Relicensing Participant must file dispute in writing to FERC

- Conduct Studies
- Second Stage Consultation

- KRCD and DWR must provide agencies and Native American tribes a copy of the Draft License Application (DLA)
July 6, 2027
- Written comments on the DLA due to the respective project applicant. (KRCD or DWR)

- File a Final License Application and provide copy to agencies, Native American tribes, governmental offices and consulted members of the public
