Brian German, Resource Analyst I, with Kings Water Alliance, a program of KRCD, reflects on his role since joining our team. “I appreciate my role at Kings Water Alliance because I feel that I am truly able to make a difference. Clean drinking water is essential. Assisting families with access to safe water has been a privilege to take part in.”

Meet Tim Green, Electrical-Mechanical Testing Technician at the Jeff L. Taylor Pine Flat Power Plant. “For 30 years I have maintained equipment here at the Jeff L. Taylor/Pine Flat Power Plant to make sure our operators have an accurate measure of the water we are discharging into the Kings River. This is part of the hands-on work I like and have the opportunity to do here, and I can see what I am a part of when I see the river and canals with water that has passed through the plant.”

Jose,  Associate Resource Analyst, shares his thoughts as he reflects on his contributions and what water means to central valley communities, “If you want to start a town or live out in the country, you are going to need water. Making sure that water is safe and clean is just as important as having it. I am grateful and proud of the role I play in helping people access safe and clean drinking water.”

Today, Lori Werner shares why her work supporting the Kings River Fisheries Management Program is so important to the health of the river’s habitat.

David joined KRCD as Deputy General Manager of Power Operations during a transitional energy period for the district, and in 2021 he became KRCD’s General Manager. David's leadership and commitment have been instrumental in guiding our team and advancing our mission.
