Matt Meadows, Assistant Watermaster with Kings River Water Association, coordinated with Mona N. Cummings, CEO of @tree_fresno, on planting 20 Cypress Trees on our property to serve as a natural barrier and beautiful backdrop to our parking lot. The trees were provided by a grant from @valleyairdistrict.

Team members from Kings River Water Association, Kings River Conservation District, and Tree Fresno worked together to plant the trees. Our team is thankful to Matt, Mona and the Tree Fresno team, and Valley Air District for making this possible, we look forward to the beauty (and shade) that these trees will bring.

Special shoutout to George Heaton who volunteered with the tree planting. George sits on the board of @kingsriverconservancy and worked as a horticulturist at Reedley College for 40 years. Thank you, George!
