KRCD strives to protect one of our valley’s most precious resources – water of the Kings River service area – through implementation of groundwater projects, on-farm water management, water quality monitoring and flood control maintenance.

The Kings River Handbook was updated in September 2009 as a joint project of Kings River Conservation District and Kings River Water Association. In it you will find a synopsis of Kings River history, a visual tour of the river and a description of the various water users.
